Educational Service Center & State Support Team 3
The ESC of Cuyahoga County is one of the largest agencies of its type in the state of Ohio, employing personnel for Northeast Ohio school districts and various additional county-wide programs to support special education, curriculum, literacy, technology, and more. We strive to provide the necessary support to local administrators, teachers and other professionals in education as they endeavor to impact their students and families through a high-quality education. The ESC provides individualized support for area school districts through city/county services; fiscal management; contract services; direct program services; consortium and cooperatives; and interagency programs across many fields of education. Together we are bridging the gap between the educational needs and educational visions where all schools and students can succeed.
National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC)
We are a library and information center which serves anyone from the professional or lay person. We do collect and disseminate the results specifically from NIDRR funded research projects. Though our collect includes other documents related to disability and rehabilitation which are not NIDRR funded. Perhaps placement as a national organization may be more appropriate? As part of our referral services we provide a myriad of information on all types of rehabilitation and disability topics (i.e. advocacy, financial resources, specific disabilities/conditions, etc.). Information and referral services are free. We also provide document delivery of publications starting at 5 cents per page with a $5.00 USD minimum. Patrons can contact us by phone, fax, mail, email, virtual reference chat, or through our website. Our TTY number is 301/459-5984.
